Keeping it alive

IKS promotes tangible and intangible traditions, knowledge, culture, etc. of indigenous communities and intends to explore the possibility of in-situ preservation.

IKS is working towards capturing and preserving the language currently spoken by the elders and others in each Tribe. It encourages and support the existing speakers to continue speaking and sharing their language, cultural traditions, values, beliefs and identity.
